We drove to Portland for Spring Break this year and had a blast! We got a good deal on a hotel their that we ordered in advance online...but when we got there it was a dump! So we decided to splurge and got a really nice, modern hotel downtown! We had so much fun eating the famous Voodoo Doughnuts and visiting the temple!
Blake turns 22 on Nov. 4 th election day! So we decided to celebrate on Sunday with our families together for a big yummy dinner!..... Betcha can't guess what our costumes are......we were 'fans' of ceilings/centrifugals!
We hosted a Halloween Murder Mystery this weekend and this is how it turned out! The ambiance of the whole thing was awesome with the candle lit dinner and scary decorations. The stairs up to our apartment was decorated with heavy spider webs, orange lights, and a fog machine that took over the whole stair well! You could barely see anything the fog was so thick! Blake went as the Devil while I was a dead bride.(my costume is hard to see in this photo...that's a black veil on my head!)
The trees in Surprise Valley are gorgeous this time of year! And they are only this red for about a week so we hurry and snapped a few shots!...oh and the update with my pregnant belly!
